7 SIGNS YOU ARE IN A FAKE RELATIONSHIP

Have you ever been in a fake relationship? Or are you surprised that there is something like a fake relationship? Yes, there is something like a fake relationship; many people are in fake relationships without even knowing.
A fake relationship is that relationship that seems like a good relationship today and the next day it’s a different feeling; a fake relationship is one that would never stand the test of time; a fake relationship is one that might never transcend into marriage.
It’s funny that I’ve also found myself in fake relationships and at the time I didn’t even know it was a fake relationship. I’d share some characteristics of a fake relationship and probably you might even know how real or fake your relationship is.
1. YOU ARE NOT SURE OF YOUR PARTNER
When in a somewhat fake relationship, you seem confused as you aren’t totally sure of your partner; you aren’t sure of how your partner feels about you, you can’t vouch that your partner truly loves you and you probably aren’t sure you are the only one in your partner’s life. If you find yourself in a situation like this then you ought to know that your relationship is probably fake; in a real relationship you should be totally sure of your partner.
2. YOU AREN’T SURE OF YOUR FEELINGS
This is also another characteristic of a fake relationship. Have you ever been in a relationship where you can’t point out if your feelings for your partner are actually true? You might profess love to that person but deep down you know that it might just be an exaggeration of your feelings. If you aren’t sure of your feelings for your partner and you keep professing love then that’s a fake relationship.
3. NO SPECIAL MOMENTS
A fake relationship hardly has any special moments; it’s just normal, there is nothing extraordinary about it. You might want to doubt this but I would give instances why you shouldn’t; love isn’t a normal feeling- it is extraordinary, super extraordinary to be precise, so if love is an extraordinary emotion how can a relationship where love is preached be so normal and ordinary?
4. IRREGULAR COMMUNICATION
This is also another relationship where the feeling can be termed fake. You can’t be in love with someone and only want to hear from that person once in a while. Communication is everything in a real relationship but when partners don’t see the need for that constant communication then you should know that such a relationship is just like a mirage.
5. OFF AND ON LOVE
And this trait is great evidence that a relationship might be fake. A relationship where there is love today and doubts tomorrow, hate the next day and passion the next isn’t a real relationship. Yes, controversies occur in relationships but not to the extent of an on and off relationship; if you can’t love your partner at all times and your partner can’t love you always then you guys are probably taking a walk in the park.
6. NO PASSION
In some relationships, passion is one word that’s more like a taboo; taboo in the sense that it’s a rarity. In a passionate relationship, couples seem to be fond of each other, couples are like best of friends and they have feelings that can be termed as true feelings. However, a fake relationship is the direct opposite; little feelings, less emotions and no passion. If this is the case of any relationship then it’s a fake relationship.
7. CAN DO WITHOUT EACH OTHER
You know that kind of relationship where you can do without your partner and your partner can also do without you? That’s the perfect definition of a fake relationship; in a real relationship, your partner is everything to you and you are everything to your partner but if this isn’t the case in your relationship then you have to admit that it’s probably a fake relationship.

There is absolutely nothing like being in a real relationship. If these aforementioned characteristics are evident in your relationship then you should know it’s fake.
